Director Wenn Deramas witnessed during the shoot for the Metro Manila Film Fesy entry Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy that Vice Ganda and Maricel Soriano had a great and professional relationship.
“They very much want each other that Vice will go to Maricel house and give his services like manicure-pedicure and that’s because of their closeness that make their friendships level up. Both of them always talk like you don’t have any other way to interrupt them,” he said.
Direk Wenn also shared that both were really excited to be working together even before they started filming. “Even if the set is not yet started both Maricel and Vice were so excited because remember when Maricel and Vice become a judge in showtime? That is the way that leads them to a very close friendship because Vice is a very open person.
As His movie competes against other major films in the festival, director Wenn said he is confident of His film. “Of course I always do the standard, indeed those they require.”he said .
Well I did not feel the pressure that it must earn basically. The only pressure thing is that we see Vice Ganda perform that comedy and not the serious thing. But I believe that Vice will perform well like you cannot think that it is the only one person who does the four characters.
